Lens Fragment Retriever: Escalon Medical Corporation needed images for new additions to their line of fiber optic light probes, used in ophthalmic surgical procedures. This probe features a scoop-tip design made to retrieve small fragments of lens from the vitreous. We had no problem depicting small-scale details, such as the tip, when conventional photography provided less satisfactory results.
